Colmers School is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Bromsgrove Sporting Football Club, offering an incredible opportunity for students joining the sixth form in 2025. This collaboration will see the creation of a brand new U19 team based at Colmers School, where students will have the chance to play competitive games every Wednesday and train with Bromsgrove's UEFA-qualified coaches alongside their academic studies.
Academic Pathways and Sports Excellence
Students enrolling in the sixth form will have the flexibility to choose from three distinct academic pathways:
1. All BTEC Route: Including the BTEC Sport Extended Diploma, equivalent to 3 A-Levels.
2. Combined Route: A mix of BTEC and A-Level courses, with BTEC Sport equivalent to 2 A-Levels, plus another BTEC or A-Level course.
3. All A-Level Pathway: Offering a wide range of subjects such as Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Arts, Computing, Health and Social Care, and more.
Additional Opportunities with Bromsgrove Bears Basketball Team
In addition to the football program, students interested in basketball can look forward to similar opportunities with the Bromsgrove Bears Basketball Team. This initiative ensures that students passionate about basketball can also train and compete while pursuing their academic goals.
