    1Footwear
    • Plain black leather type school shoes. Shoes must be appropriate for school life and demands.

    • Any laces must be black.

    • No branding.

    • No trainers, pumps or canvas footwear.

    • No sling backs, boots or shoes with significant heels.

    • Loud, bright socks are not acceptable.

    2Outdoor wear
    • A plain outdoor coat which is fully zipped. No ¼ or 1.2 zipped jackets to be worn as they have be removed over the head (this can be deemed as a hoodie type coat) this is not accepted.

    • No denim, denim look alike or leather jackets to be worn.

    • No hoodies to be worn at all. A hoodie is a garment that has to be removed over the head without a full zip.

    • No caps at all unless in extreme heat (notification will be given if this is the case). Hats only in cold weather to be removed inside the buildings.

    3Trousers and skirts - Standard School Day
    • Official school-skirt or tailored trousers.

    • No denim, or denim look alike to be worn.

    • Skirts should be school style only (blue tartan) and be no more than 5cm above or below the knee.

    • No leggings, lycra/stretch material trousers.

    • No decoration (belts/buckles/zips/buttons/sparkle etc.).

    • No track suit bottoms except on PE days.

    4Extra Layers - suggestions
    • Wear a t-shirt or vest under your school shirt and/or a pair of leggings under your school trousers.

    • Bring an additional jumper or sweatshirt to wear under a blazer or school jumper.

    5PE Kit
    • Students must wear their PE Kit for PE i.e. PE Top and shorts.

    • Students must have white socks as part of their PE Kit.

    • Students may wear leggings underneath their PE shorts.

    6Hair and Jewellery
    • No unreasonable or extreme haircuts – please check before attending barbers/hairdressers.

    • No shaved patterns or lines in the hair or eyebrows.

    • Only small plain dark coloured hair bands/clips/slides – no other hair accessories (e.g. bows, flowers etc.).

    • Hair colouring and hair braids must be natural hair colour only (i.e. not red/purple/pink/peroxide etc.).

    • Jewellery is restricted to one small ring, a watch and one pair of plain small sleeper/stud earrings and no other piercings (no nose, tongue, eyebrow studs etc.).

    7Make up
    • Any make-up must be subtle – no dark eyeliner, false/large/dark eyelashes, no bright eye shadow and only light foundation. No nail varnish or false nails.

    • No visible tattoos or body art.

    8Equipment

    Students are expected to bring and carry with them their own equipment, as listed below. They will be provided with a School Planner at the start of the year.

    • x 2 Black or blue biro pens

    • x 1 Green pen

    • x 1 Pencil

    • x 1 Pencil sharpener

    • x 1 Highlighter

    • x 1 Scientific Calculator

    It is essential your child has a school bag that is large enough to carry their equipment, a water bottle and a snack.
